It is a noble service being rendered by the Christian Science church during this period of world-wide human misery. As shown by the statement published in The Argus yesterday [July 19], the generous contributions made by members of this denomination for war relief work already amount to several hundred thousand dollars, and they are still liberally giving. The Christian Science organization will, with a continuation of its present good work, go on record as one of the most potent agencies for relief destitution and misery incidental to the war.
