In the fall of 1914 I met with an accident, the wheel of a cab passing over the toes of my right foot. I was carried to my rooms, as the foot was very painful, also badly swollen and bruised. As soon as possible I summoned help from a Christian Scientist, who said she would treat me at once and asked me to come to the city. I did as she requested, and to my great pleasure was able to walk without the slightest difficulty after my arrival there. The healing was beautiful, without the loss of a single toenail.

The next summer a window sash fell on my left hand, and the pain was intense. I called this same friend, and told her that the hand was badly injured and very much inflamed. Treatment was given me, with the result that the next day the hand was much better, and the second day I could use it as well as before the accident. It was permanently healed.

I know that divine Love will meet my every need, and for all the blessings received I am more grateful than words can express. I am thankful to God for Christian Science, and also grateful to Mrs. Eddy for discovering this truth that is our help in times of trouble.
