I wish to express my gratitude for the healing that has come to me through Christian Science. After ailing for some time, I finally became very ill and was taken to the hospital to be operated on. My condition, however, was so serious that the operation was postponed, and accordingly I was taken home to gain sufficient strength for the ordeal. Two of the best physicians in the city said I had an abnormal growth and could never be well until the operation was performed. They also said if it was not done at once, they would not take the case; but having always been opposed to operations, I objected very much to this one. Then one evening my husband, on coming home from his office, met a friend who spoke to him of Christian Science. We discussed the matter, and as I preferred anything to an operation, after thinking it over for about a week we sent for a Christian Science practitioner. In about twelve treatments I was entirely healed. Life is now different in every way since the terrible fear has been removed and has been replaced by the understanding of Love and Truth.
