About four years ago I was healed in Christian Science of a very obstinate disease of the stomach, bowels, and kidneys, after suffering untold agony for eighteen months and being bedfast the greater part of that time. I have since been able to overcome many minor ills to which I was subject before coming into this wonderful truth.

Christian Science not only has been a sovereign panacea for material ills but has given me mental joy, peace, and harmony, which human words are inadequate to express. In years gone by I was a slave to despondency, sometimes having spells that would last for days at a time. Now I only have to know that God is ever-present harmony and peace, and I am free and happy again. My gratitude to God and to Mrs. Eddy cannot be expressed in words, but I hope to prove my sincerity by my daily life.
