It is with a joyful heart and a deep sense of gratitude that I testify to the good which has come to me through Christian Science. For five years I had worn glasses and was unable to read over half an hour at a time, but after reading Science and Health for three weeks my eyes were perfectly healed and the glasses were discarded. I can truthfully say that I never knew what it was to have good health before taking up the study of Christian Science. For eighteen years I had taken medicine for bowel trouble, but I am thankful to say I was also healed of this disorder and of rheumatism by reading, and I have not taken any medicine since I turned to God.

While I am very thankful for the physical healings, I am much more so for the spiritual uplift received through Christian Science. I can say with the psalmist, "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions." Christian Science does meet our every need, and I am thankful to God, and grateful to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who has given us this Christ-teaching that makes free.
