Christian Science has healed me of a disease for which the doctors said there was no cure. Having heard of this healing truth through a friend, I finally told my family I would try Christian Science. After three treatments I felt much better; but a member of the family said if prayer could not help the first time it would not at all, and not understanding anything of Christian Science I stopped taking treatment. Then my suffering returned with more severity than before; but as I had been relieved a good deal through Christian Science at the time of treatments, I decided to see what had helped me, so started to study Science and Health with the Bible. After studying for some time I had a little glimpse of the relation between God and man, and said to myself that if this were true I did not need to be sick. Then there came over me such a longing for understanding that I said, "O God, let me understand it," and I was healed that same evening.

We have had many other proofs of healing in our family, and words fail to express my gratitude for Christian Science. I wish to thank the dear friends who are always ready not only with words but also with loving deeds. I am very thankful to God, and grateful to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for this wonderful truth.
