The appointment of Edward A. Merritt, C.S.B., 3422 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio, to the board of lectureship of The Mother Church is announced. Mr. Merritt's appointment is to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of William D. McCrackan, C.S.B., who has been elected an associate editor of the Journal, Sentinel, and Herold.

Frank Bell, who lectured on Christian Science in the Warburton Theater, was introduced by Mrs. May N. Hatheway, second reader, who said:—
