Christian Science found me almost a complete physical wreck. For many years I had tried material remedies and my case had baffled many doctors. While traveling in the hope of regaining my health, this truth was presented to me. At that time I was very much discouraged and had little faith in anything, but I am glad to say that I consented to have treatment. I have found in Christian Science the "pearl of great price," for my healing was instantaneous. I had heart trouble of long standing, and the doctors considered it of a serious nature. I was deaf in one ear and gradually becoming so in the other, as a result of taking medicine prescribed by the doctors to keep the heart in action. I had stomach disorder and bowel trouble, the bowles being paralyzed, and nervous chills would set in at the least exertion. These ills and many others have been overcome.

We are theatrical people, a family of six, and are all interested in this great truth that makes free. Each one has been healed many times of different ailments. My youngest daughter was healed of tubercular disease of the glands, and the eldest of a severe case of skin disease. My son, who is before the public at all times, being a singer, was instantaneously healed of hoarseness by absent treatment. Before asking for help he could not speak above a whisper, and within an hour after sending a telegram to a practitioner he was able to sing as clearly as before the trouble appeared, thus proving how powerful the truth is when we put our full trust in God, and also plainly showing that divine Love meets "every human need" (Science and Health, p. 494).

Mercifully for us, God does not withhold His blessings, although we often delay in giving expression of our gratitude until the truth forces us to acknowledge our benefits. I give my testimony with the hope that it may benefit some one as I have been benefited by reading the testimonies of others. I am grateful not only for the healing of sickness through Christian Science, but for the spiritual uplift that turns night into day and leads me "beside the still waters."
