Glasgow, Scotland.—First Church of Christ, Scientist, has distributed during the past year 6019 Sentinels, 1332 Journals, 29,921 Monitors, and 2926 miscellaneous pieces, a total of 40,198 pieces. The Journal is supplied to eleven hotels and one hydropathic. The Sentinel and the Herold are in the libraries. Forty-eight Monitor subscriptions, of which twenty-eight are donated, come to the committee weekly, direct from Boston. One goes to the U. S. Consulate and ten to the libraries.
The weekly distribution from the office of the publication committee includes: six army headquarters, sixty-five barber shops, seven docks and ferries, thirteen fire stations, ten garages, eighteen hotels, twenty-two institutions, forty lighthouses, thirteen railway stations, five reading-rooms and clubs, four Red Cross rest rooms, thirty-six restaurants and tea rooms, six theaters, and five miscellaneous.
