Among the Churches

Current Notes

Bellingham, Wash.—A beautiful new church is to rise in Bellingham in the near future at the southwest corner of Maple and Forest Streets. It will be built by First Church of Christ, Scientist, and will cost about twenty thousand dollars exclusive of furnishings. Including these the outlay will be about thirty thousand dollars. The entire building will not be completed at once, but the first unit will be built in 1916. The church lot is opposite the Y. W. C. A. Building, and has a frontage of 110 feet on Forest Street and a depth of 125 feet on Maple Street.—American-Reveille.

East Orange, N. J.—Increased attendance at the services of First Church of Christ, Scientist, has made new quarters necessary, and beginning tomorrow [Feb. 6] services will be held in the large hall on the ground floor at 317 Main Street, directly opposite the post-office.—Newark News.

Burns, Ore.—The members of the Christian Science Society have had erected a very creditable edifice on the corner northeast of the Court House grounds, and will soon have a comfortable place of their own in which to hold services.
