My thankfulness goes out to God, the giver of all good. Eight years ago my daughter, then twelve years old, was instantaneously healed of a severe case of shingles through the application of Christian Science. I had heard of this teaching but could not understand it. After this healing I began to read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and the book was indeed a revelation to me. While reading I was healed of chronic bowel trouble, rheumatism, and sick headaches. This proved to me the absolute truth of Christian Science. Two years later divine Love fully sustained me during a time of deep sorrow, my husband and my mother having passed on within two months of each other. Two years after this I had a stroke of paralysis, considered hereditary, but it was overcome in four treatments. I have had no return of these ailments.

My daughter has been healed of a sprained ankle and a sprained wrist at different times, one treatment only being necessary in each case to destroy the fear. Merely to say we are grateful to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for her patience and love to all mankind, does not adequately express our feeling.—May Philson, Los Angeles, Cal.
