It is with a heart full of gratitude that I write these words of thankfulness for what Christian Science has done for me. About ten years ago I had an enlargement of the neck, which was pronounced a goiter by our family physician. Though he was unable to reduce the growth, he did check it for a few months, but then it began to increase again. After being on my feet a few hours my head and neck would ache, and I could get relief only by lying down. Finally I went to a Christian Science practitioner, and with three treatments the pain was relieved, while with five or six more the growth had become smaller. Though treatment was then discontinued, in a short time my neck was reduced to its normal size, and it has never troubled me since. I have also been healed of a bad case of catarrh of years' standing, for which many remedies had been tried without relief. Then I was troubled with stomach disorder for a number of years, and had to diet until I came into Christian Science; but my health has been almost perfect since then.
For the many blessings that have come to me and my family, and for the spiritual uplift, I am indeed thankful to God, and grateful to Mrs. Eddy for showing us the way.
