It is now about five years since we first learned of Christian Science. My husband was then recovering from an attack of sciatic rheumatism, from which he had suffered at times very severely. We became interested in the literature given us by a friend, and finally purchased Science and Health. Shortly after this we moved to Cuba, and while there my husband had another attack of sciatica. With our slight understanding of Christian Science we seemed unable to overcome the difficulty, although it did not continue with so much severity as usual. Finally, almost in despair, I wrote to a practitioner in our home town for absent treatment, and in a short time my husband was well. He has never had a return of the disease. Another time he was able to overcome a sprained ankle in three days, when under similar conditions with medical treatment it was six weeks before he could use his ankle.

My little son was healed of a severe sore throat in half a day, and we have had many other proofs of the practicability of Christian Science in our daily life. We wish to express our thankfulness to God for the knowledge that is showing us more and more clearly the perfect way.
