I wish to join the glad throng of those who are voicing their gratitude for the benefits received through Christian Science. No words of mine could express what it has done and is doing for me. When I first started the study of Christian Science, it was not for the healing (though I needed that badly enough, as I was a physical wreck), but because I had lost vital interest in religion and was looking for something more sustaining than I could find in the established church. I have found all I had ever hoped for, and a great deal more. Christian Science has helped me mentally, morally, and physically.
In my own case the physical healing has been slow, but I have seen a very quick demonstration in the case of my sister-in-law, who was brought back to us by the faithful efforts of a Christian Science practitioner, when the patient seemed to be passing out. I have been studying this Science for over eight years, and during that time every problem which has come up has been solved by the application of this teaching. Our home is now happy and harmonious, whereas once it was full of fear and depression. It is therefore no wonder that my heart is filled with gratitude to God for the revelation of Christian Science to this age, and my prayer goes up that every needy sufferer may come to know this great truth which has come to set us free from every bondage.
