With loving gratitude to God for Christian Science I give this testimony of what it has done for me through the study of the Bible and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy.

About four years ago I was healed of what is called appendicitis. Some time ago I had a bilious attack and was so very ill that my husband wanted me to have a doctor, but instead I called for a Christian Science practitioner, and the second day I realized that the ever present help was at hand. I had to be down-town for business at noon that day, but I was so weak I had to ask the practitioner for more help. Up to eleven o'clock I did not know how I could dress myself, but I sat down and read the week's Lesson-Sermon, until Truth overcame error and I was well and strong again. I dressed and had lunch, then went to town to my place of business, and helped until nine o'clock that evening. I could hardly believe I was the same person. While in the old belief, I would be sick from such an attack from four to six days and under a doctor's care. I am more than thankful to God, and grateful to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for Christian Science.—Mrs. A. Williamson, Los Angeles, Cal.
