I am most grateful for the benefits I have received through Christian Science. I suffered for twenty-three years from what was diagnosed as hysteria, and my physician told me that I ought to work only half a day or I would never be well. He also advised me to try Christian Science, because he could not help me, and accordingly I did so. The power of Truth, as made known in Christian Science, at once made such a change in me that I could work a whole day and every day of the week, and I have done so ever since. During the six years that I have been studying Christian Science I have not had one attack, although I have done sewing and other work I never thought I would be able to do again. I have likewise had several demonstrations over colds. My heart is overflowing with thankfulness to God, and with gratitude to Mrs. Eddy for the great help I have received.
