We are thankful to God for the good that has come to us...
We are thankful to God for the good that has come to us through Christian Science. In 1911 my daughter became mentally deranged, as the result of an accident with which she met while in the last stages of confinement. The condition seemed to affect her so much that the presence of two physicians became necessary during the birth, after which she had to be taken to an asylum. A three and a half months' stay there brought no improvement, and we had but little hope of her recovery. I then happened to hear of Christian Science, and wrote to a practitioner, asking her to take the case and to enlighten me with regard to the subject, and this she willingly did. I put all my trust in God, and the power of Truth was soon manifest.
With a few treatments my daughter was completely healed, and this caused a good deal of surprise among our acquaintances. This healing, however, is not the sole cause of our gratitude, for the spiritual understanding which we have gained through Christian Science is indeed a great blessing, and it is our most sincere desire that some sufferer may be led through this testimony to find his way to Christian Science, and thereby become a partaker of that peace which the world cannot give.
Frau Marie Ziegler, Aalen (Wurttemberg), Germany.
