I have long felt a desire to express through the Sentinel my thankfulness to God, and my gratitude to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for the change of thought which has given me that peace "which passeth all understanding." My past life had been nothing but disappointment, ill health, and failure, with no satisfaction. Since coming into Christian Science I have gained a better understanding of God, and the Bible is my daily comfort. My life has changed completely, and I have found God an ever present help in trouble. I have been healed through Christian Science of rheumatism, gout, neuralgia, varicose veins, and erysipelas. Surely no one has more cause than I to be thankful for this wonderful truth which makes us free.
