An evangelist is conducting meetings in Loveland

Boulder (Col.) Camera

An evangelist is conducting meetings in Loveland. We wish the great converter of souls well. We also wish that he would cut out two of his sermons,—the one dealing with hell, the other with Christian Science. He is too able a man to try to frighten people into accepting a religion he makes so attractive, and too good a man to set neighbors at ears. The Christian Scientist is taken at a disadvantage when attacked, because he will not war. He will not meet attack by counter attack, for he is tolerant of all faith. He goes his way serenely confident in the belief that God is good and that man is God's child. We hold no brief for the Christian Scientists, but we wish all people were as consistent and optimistic of the present and the future as they are.
