I wish to testify to the rich blessings which have been mine through Christian Science. For many years I had been a constant sufferer from many complicated physical ailments, among them locomotor ataxia, kidney and bladder disturbances, rheumatism, neuralgia, and a constant pain in the face, all of which rendered life unbearable. I was a heavy burden to my family, both financial aid and constant care being required of them during the many years of my illness. Physicians could give but temporary relief, and as declining years approached all hope of recovery was given up.

In this deplorable condition Christian Science found me, and I was gently led to see the light of the guiding star of being for myself, even the very clear perception that there is no death. I have been entirely healed of all these ailments, and words are inadequate to express my gratitude. For my future guide I have God and the Bible. Mrs. Eddy's books are a rich legacy left by this inspired woman for the benefit of mankind.

I have just returned from a trip extending to the middle West, while before my healing I would have considered this an impossible ordeal. Although seventy-one years old and traveling alone, I had no sense of fear and no weariness, but a peculiar joyousness in the renewal of strength and the abiding peace which Christian Science has brought into my experience.

May the day-star of Truth dawn on all those who read these lines, and lead them to spiriutal harmony through Christian Science. I know through the teachings of Science that Life, Truth, and Love are eternal.

This is to certify that I am fully acquainted with the facts pertaining to my mother's healing. The healing of the facial pains made a deep impression on me because they were destroyed within twenty-four hours after I had narrated to the practitioner a conversation in which my mother expressed her belief that they were caused by a malignant growth. About four years ago I was healed of female trouble and other discords by the first reading of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. This healing was permanent, and since that time our many needs have been met by Christian Science, often by our limited understanding of its teachings.

When only two months old our baby became ill with cold, which resulted in a severe cough with croup, while to this were added hives and sore mouth, all of which were very distressing. The condition failed to yield to my efforts, and my husband being away on business, I wrote to a Christian Science practitioner who had helped us at other times, asking for absent treatment. The first day there was marked improvement. In three days the baby was all right with the exception of a slight cough, and that disappeared before the week was over.

We are indeed very grateful for this healing, and for the many other blessings that we have received since we began to study Christian Science. We take the Journal, the Sentinel, and the Monitor, and feel that we could not do without them.—Mrs. D. B. London, Alanreed, Texas.
