When Christian Science was brought to me, it was like a ray of sunshine upon a dark sky. I had been a sufferer from appendicitis and other troubles for several years. An operation was fought off as long as it could be, but in June, 1910, I had to submit to it, that being the only remedy of which we then knew. I expected to be well and strong in at least three months, but I was sadly mistaken, for I was under the doctor's care continuously for eleven months, yet did not gain; I fact, I became a nervous wreck. Christian Science had been mentioned to me, but so many objections were raised that I did not try it until my relatives were convinced that the doctors could not help me. It was then I sought a practitioner. I began to improve after the first treatment, and in three weeks was healed. I had always been troubled with bowel disorder and severe headaches, but now I am free from both these ills also.
For all these blessings I am truly grateful, but even more so for the promise, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." My healing has been permanent, and I have always found Christian Science to be a present help whenever any discordant thought arises.
Mrs. Arch Winton, Indianapolis, Ind.
