Redlands (Cal.) Review and Facts
Results are what count in the last analysis, and even if the critics of Christian Science spend "years of careful research" among its avowed enemies, and attempt to verify these findings from "the highest scientific and ecclesiastical scholars" equally antagonistic, such efforts amount to little in the face of the actual mental, moral, and physical regeneration taking place daily in hundreds of cases under Christian Science treatment. The personal attacks directed at the Founder of the Christian Science movement have invariably failed because of these same results, and any fair-minded investigator can easily and quickly satisfy himself as to Mrs. Eddy's life and what Christian Science has done and is doing for humanity through the authorized literature of the movement.
One by one those who attempt through pulpit and press to traduce Christian Science and its Founder are learning that because of the unfairness of such misrepresentations they have but one result, namely, to stimulate interest in the very subject they have taken so little pains to inform themselves upon. In the words of Mrs. Eddy in "The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany" (p. 143), "When these things cease to bless they will cease to occur."
