I first heard of Christian Science in September, 1912
I first heard of Christian Science in September, 1912. I felt greatly attracted by this new way of understanding God and man and had the desire to become acquainted with its teachings, more especially as I had been subject for years to distressing and painful attacks of liver complaint. These would leave me in a state of great weakness. I was observing a severe regimen, but from the day when I had my first Christian Science treatment I was able to eat everything without experiencing inconvenience, and I have not had another attack. Since then I have enjoyed very good health. I am convinced of the efficacy of Christian Science treatment, and I feel sure that the divine power to heal exceeds all material remedies. My first steps in this new way have been guided with so much loving-kindness, and the explanations necessary for the understanding of the subject have been so lucid and convincing, that they have led me to a better concept of God and have taught me how to find Him. I love Christian Science, and wish to express my deep gratitude to Mrs. Eddy, through whom this great truth has been revealed to us.—
Mlle. Jeanne Arnaud, Geneva, Switzerland.
