[Written for the Sentinel]

All for Thee!

When night to morning's beams gives way.
I wake to Thee!
When waves of traffic beat the day,
I serve but Thee!

When skies are bright and joys prevail,
I sing of Thee!
When thunders roll and storms assail,
I'm still with Thee!

When discord seeks to blight my way,
I voice but Thee!
When trials come to wreck the day,
I know but Thee!

When rest and peace prove blessings rare,
I thank but Thee!
When bliss supreme reigns ev'rywhere,
I live in Thee!

When day in evening sinks to rest,
I cling to Thee!
When night by silence is caressed,
I'm safe with Thee!

When Spirit still all sense of strife,
I worship Thee!
O Love divine, thou Truth and Life,
I praise but Thee!
