Mrs. Eddy says (Science and Health, p. 1), "The prayer that reforms the sinner and heals the sick is an absolute faith that all things are possible to God." This I know to be true. I came into Christian Science through the healing of my baby, for when he was a year old he had no use of his limbs, neither could he keep food on his stomach. We gave him medical treatment, but he grew worse, and it seemed as if there was no help for him. I became utterly disheartened and thought that nothing but trouble came to us.

It was at this time that I heard of Christian Science, through a very dear friend who came to see him, and after the first treatment I could see that he was better. Through continued treatment, and "absolute faith" in God, he was healed in seven months of all the trouble. I can say that I am truly grateful to God for Christian Science and for the benefits we have received from it.
