I did not come into Christian Science through any physical healing. It was at a time when I was looking for something substantial on which to lean that Christian Science found me, and it has given me comfort and joy. Some time ago, while visiting in a small city in the middle West, I awoke one morning to find the ground covered with a deep fall of snow. I went out and swept the walks and the porches, but as I was not accustomed to this sort of exercise, that evening at dinner my arms ached so that I could hardly lift my food to my mouth; however, it was Wednesday evening, and we all went to the Christian Science church. While a testimony of healing was being given, I felt all the pain leave my arms as if a weight had been lifted from them, and I knew that the realization of the truth as given in that testimony had healed me.

This is only one of the many things that Christian Science has done for me. It has made the Bible, which I had packed away in a trunk, my daily companion, and I am always finding new and wonderful truths in it. I am also thankful for the Christian Science literature, as it teaches me to know more about God.—Marie D. Rice, New York, N. Y.
