No words can tell how terribly I suffered for more than...
No words can tell how terribly I suffered for more than twenty years before I learned of Christian Science. So-called organic diseases brought on other ills, till every organ in my body was said to be so badly affected that I was in agony day and night, and every movement caused intense pain. I had been confined to my bed nearly four months, when an old acquaintance called one day and asked me why I did not try Christian Science. I replied that I did not know anything about it. She then told me some wonderful things which she had known it to accomplish, and asked if I was willing to try it. I answered that I had suffered so much, and so long, that I was willing to try anything to get relief, for I had reached the limit of human endurance. She brought a practitioner to see me, and I began to take treatment, and to study "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. In three days I was up, helping with the work, and in two months could do all my work, including housecleaning, something it had been impossible for me to do for a good many years. I was treated just two months, and some of my neighbors, knowing what a bad condition I had been in for so long, and seeing that I can work so hard now, all day and every day, say that Christian Science has certainly wrought a miracle for me.—Mrs. J. H. Graham, Petaluma, Cal.
