I have enjoyed the rich blessings of Christian Science for the past four years, and gratefully acknowledge the fact that I could not now live without it. Before I came to Christian Science I was almost constantly under medical care, yet no physician was able to help me, and my condition rather grew worse. For many years I suffered with severe stomach trouble, headaches, a heart difficulty, and other ills. Besides these I was very much depressed whenever sorrow or worry encompassed my thought.

My distress had reached its height when I was divinely led to seek and find Christian Science. I attended the Sunday services and the Wednesday evening meetings regularly, and as a result of the teaching and of treatment from a kind practitioner, the truth gradually became clearer to me, so that I patiently put my trust in God. I have been freed of all my troubles, and my husband has been healed of an eye trouble of more than twelve years' standing. My child was healed of measles with two treatments, and we are happy and contented people who have found in Christian Science a religion which meets all our hearts' desire.

I would like to say that, as I am not acquainted with the English language, I gained my understanding of Science through the German Christian Science literature alone, especially Der Herold der Christian Science. For all our blessings I give thanks to God, and am deeply grateful to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, whose privilege it has been to bring to suffering humanity the knowledge of the healing power of divine Truth.
