In April, 1911, I called at a house where there was a case of serious throat trouble, and when I found this out I had a great sense of fear. In a short time my youngest daughter complained of her throat, so I went to a Christian Science practitioner and told her the circumstances and asked for help. On Thursday the child went to bed with all the symptoms of the disease, and on Friday morning she seemed even worse. I telephoned the practitioner, and she came to the house and treated her. When leaving, I told her I would let her know how the child was getting along later in the day, and in doing so I mentioned the characteristic odor. That evening it had entirely disappeared, and the throat was somewhat better. Saturday she sat up part of the day, on Sunday she got up and dressed, and by Monday she was entirely well. For this and other benefits I have received through Christian Science I am very grateful.
