"Why, God loves me as much as He does any one else, and if I am in trouble He is surely going to help me out."

Such was the remark made to the writer recently by one who would be called a hard-headed business man. So expert is he in his line, indeed, that he has been called to push the interests of a very important business in a large city. A simple statement like this, accompanied by such childlike trust, was a clear indication that he had come into touch with the Christ spirit, and it developed later that his confidence had been brought about by reading the text-book of Christian Science, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy; not that such teaching is confined to this book, for it is simply the teaching of the Bible. Nevertheless here is another evidence that Christian Science is awakening its students to a more vital and practical interest in the Book of books, which has guided and comforted so many noble men and women down through the ages.

It is this practical sense of the ever-presence of God that the business man needs. When he grasps the fact that the God of a perfect universe is supreme in the counting-house, that the God of heaven is the God of his home, that there is indeed but one God, and He omnipotent, then he has a sense of a God with whom he wishes to be associated. In fact, it would be to every man's advantage if he would consider himself in partnership with God. "O for a closer walk with God," should be the aspiration of each heart, but the walking with God should be continuous.
