Trusting God to guide my thought, I will endeavor to tell others a few of the many blessings which have been mine since coming into a knowledge of Christian Science. I have been healed of ills too numerous to mention. I had been under medical treatment and taking medicines for over ten years, and had the best of care from a kind husband, who spent many sleepless nights with me; but all was to little or no avail, till man's extremity was proved to be God's opportunity.

In what seemed a roundabout way, we heard of Christian Science, and I was led to this truth which heals and saves. Now I know that God is an ever-present help to those who put their trust in Him and who realize that He is the only intelligence. I would like to mention a demonstration which I had in my own case, over a very bad injury to my foot and ankle. I was up-stairs, and came down in great haste. It being somewhat dark, I took two steps at once and twisted my foot so that I was not able to set it on the floor any more that day. This was about ten o'clock in the morning; and after supper I was still unable to put my foot to the floor. In the evening, when all was still and I was alone with God, I again proved the truth of this teaching of our beloved Leader: "Have no fear that matter can ache, swell, and be inflamed ... when it is self-evident that matter can have no pain nor inflammation ... were it not for mortal mind" (Science and Health, p. 393). Besides this, fever, whooping-cough, colds, and serious injuries have been overcome for my family, by the power of Truth as made known in Christian Science.

I write this testimony to the glory of God, and with much gratitude to Mrs. Eddy. My daily prayer is for more understanding, that I may do what God would have me do.
