I have long wished to express my gratitude for Christian Science, and take pleasure in doing so through the Sentinel. It is now over ten years since I placed myself under the care of the "great Physician," and during these years I have had many opportunities of proving God's constant care and wonderful protection in every time of need. Through the study of our text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, I have been healed of severe headaches. I had suffered for years from these headaches, and had tried many material remedies, but could get no permanent relief; in fact, they became more frequent and severe. When, however, I took up the study of Christian Science, I soon learned that I was losing the fear of a great many things which had troubled me, both financial and physical problems.

Some time after this I attended a Wednesday evening meeting in a city at some distance from my home, and a lady who was present testified to the healing of headaches such as mine. She said that she had been healed by a few treatments in Christian Science and that her healing was permanent. As I was returning to my home that night, I was thinking, while on the train, about the beautiful and helpful testimonies I had heard, and the one just mentioned was recalled, when like a flash the thought came, "Where are your headaches?" I then recalled my last experience with this trouble, and found that it was more than two years since. I had not even thought of those headaches in all that time, and there had never been any return of the trouble.

For this healing and the many other blessings which have come to me in Christian Science, I am most thankful to God. Words cannot express my gratitude to our loved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for giving us this spiritual interpretation of the Bible, by which we can be made free from all the ills that flesh is heir to.
