It is with unbounded love and thankfulness to God, and corresponding gratitude to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, that I express my appreciation of the blessed teaching of Christian Science, which has healed me of many ills of the flesh and given me such a spiritual uplift that I cannot find words to express my gratitude. It is, however, my greatest desire to show my thankfulness by my life. A short time ago a great trial came to me, but with it came also the realization of the presence of divine Truth, and the demonstration was so complete that the thought of death never entered my consciousness. For this proof of God's constant care of His own, and for the great kindness and love shown me in my hour of need by the members of the Christian Science church, I am indeed grateful.
