As I do not live where I can attend the Wednesday evening testimonial meetings, I take this privilege (and it is a great pleasure) of telling others through the Sentinel what Christian Science has done for me and for my family, also that God lets the glad light of Truth and Love shine through me to heal others. I was a great sufferer for years, till at last my attention was called to Christian Science by a friend who was just coming into the truth. My first healing was in a case of bowel trouble, which was completely overcome in twelve hours. I have also been cured of tubercular disease of the lungs, and a severe throat trouble, besides other ills.

I live thirty-five miles from Portland, Ore. (and that is the nearest Church of Christ, Scientist, to me). I go down to the Sunday service once a month, and I enjoy it very much. I live alone with God up here in the Cascade mountains, and I have a great deal to be thankful for, having had many good demonstrations of Truth's power. God is everywhere, and I am so rejoiced to be counted with the followers of Christ. For all this I am thankful to God, and grateful to Mrs. Eddy.
