Being very thankful to God for the benefits received through Christian Science, and thinking that some one may be benefited by reading my testimony, I gladly send it. I had been an invalid all my life, and for the last five or six years I had lain in bed for six or seven months out of each year; indeed, the last illness I had I suffered for ten months from nervous exhaustion, my stomach, liver, bowels, kidneys, and heart all being out of order. I could not eat much or sleep well, but I have been cured of all of the above ailments, also of deafness. I had never held a position or worked until I came into Christian Science, but now I am able to work, and am engaged in a motor plant. Since coming into Christian Science I have had many beautiful demonstrations and I am most thankful to God for the truth given us through His messenger, Mrs. Eddy.

I took up Christian Science with the thought of helping my husband, not thinking of becoming interested myself. I was then a member of another church, and seemed very well satisfied, but after reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy for a few weeks, I was surprised to find that I was cured of severe nervous headaches, which were very frequent, also of liver trouble. I began to attend the Wednesday evening meetings, and it took me but a short time to see the beauty of Christian Science. I was surely ready, as I was quite willing to accept its teachings, and from the beginning it seeemd to me to be the truth.
