It is with great joy and thanksgiving that I offer this testimony in behalf of the efficacy of Christian Science. After receiving medical treatment for nearly two years for an affection of the throat, which later culminated in a chronic bowel disorder, and finding only temporary relief, I decided to try Christian Science. At that time I was in a very weak condition and also very nervous and depressed, but after two treatments the bowel trouble was practically healed, and I began at once to gain strength and courage. I received my first treatment in January, 1910, and since then have had many proofs that Christian Science does heal the sick. During that time many ailments have been overcome for my children, including measles and throat trouble, and at the birth of a baby boy I had another convincing demonstration of the power of Truth.

For the spiritual uplifting, and for the joy and calm the study of Christian Science gives us in meeting all our daily problems, I am even more grateful than for the physical healing.—Mrs. Mabel Davis, West Pullman, Ill.
