It is with a joyful heart that I express my gratitude for what I have received through Christian Science. It is more than two years ago that I first heard of this Science, and attended a meeting which proved such an attraction for me that I became desirous of joining this movement. For many years I had suffered with severe headaches, and no physician was able to help me permanently, but from the time I began to attend the meetings and to read Der Herold der Christian Science, I had no more headaches. I also felt very weak at times, it often being impossible for me to attend to my household duties; but this ailment has also been completely eliminated, and now I feel very strong.

I wore special glasses for about fifteen years, as the physician believed that I could not do without them, which seemed true, as my eyesight was very defective; but when I heard and read the testimonies of healing, it occurred to me that the condition of my eyes might improve, and after talking the matter over with a Christian Science practitioner, treatment was given for some time. I then laid aside my glasses, and was able to read without experiencing pain. The study of the text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," affords me great joy, and I am very happy, and deeply grateful to God.
