The international edition of this paper [The Christian Science Monitor] has been offered to us for a while. Although we lack the time necessary for a detailed and attentive study of this paper, we have read it sufficiently to be able to declare that it is splendidly edited. All sensational news, which can only awake wrong emotions, is omitted. It gives the important political and scientific news, and good articles on art and sport. The last page is specially important because of short editorials on interesting topics. Next to the last page contains an article teaching the application of Christian Science.

This is a paper that we need not keep from our children, and that daily brings an upbuliding thought. What paper in our country dares to reform in this way? The influence of the press is enormous, and the responsibility to use this influence in an educative line is very heavy. Many papers try this, but fail to exclude from their columns the destructive and defiling.
