I am indeed grateful for Christian Science and can truly...

I am indeed grateful for Christian Science and can truly say that none of its teaching or work is ever lost. It was some fifteen years ago when I had my first treatment. I was then a little girl, but never could forget the great help which I received. The lady with whom I stayed at the time was a Christian Scientist, but I did not then know what Christian Science stands for. I had all my life been troubled more or less with earache, and this last attack (thanks to Christian Science it was the last) was seemingly worst of all and I was growing quite deaf. I had been going to doctors and had tried everything in the line of ear remedies that had been suggested, but to no avail, when one night this friend heard me crying. She came to me and asked if she might help me. I certainly needed help and was perfectly willing to give up my medicine if only I could have relief. Within a half hour after she came to me I was asleep and slept through the whole night. The next morning the pain was entirely gone, but I was still a little deaf. She, however, informed me the deafness would disappear just as the pain had done, and it truly did, for from that day to this I have had no more ear trouble.

At that time my people thought the healing very good, but they knew nothing of Christian Science and I drifted away from it, until a year and a half ago, when the little seed of truth planted fifteen years ago came up, and I am now only too pleased to watch, and work, and pray that I may gain more and more understanding of Truth.

I have had the power of divine Truth proven to me in many instances during the past year, and for it all I am indeed thankful.—Mrs. Marie Wachs, Winona, Minn.
