I have just been reading the Sentinel, stored with its treasures of good news from thankful hearts, that are unable to utter all that they know and feel; and how can I tell of the many blessings which have come to me through Christian Science? It has been one blessing added to another all the time. When I first took up the study I was very miserable from a complication of diseases, said to arise from a weak heart, which was believed to be a family trait. The little work that I did was a great burden to me, but after a few days' study of Science and Health I learned that God is my life and strength, and then I saw that I could do all my necessary labor and did not have to listen to the dictates of pain or weariness. With this in view I doubled my efforts, and the stopping of my medical bills was of great financial help to me. I was not healed all at once, but my acceptance of the truth was the beginning of health and prosperity. The casting out of sin and the learning how to be a loyal Christian Scientist is my daily task and my prayer. Of Mrs. Eddy I can say that she has been my best earthly friend, always brave and true, and the Sentinel and Monitor, which are always at hand, speak to me of health, purity, and love.—F. E. Turner, Crescent City, Cal.
