It is from a heart filled with gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me that I give this testimony. Christian Science was brought to my notice at a time when I seemed to have about all that one could bear, and after investigation I very soon decided it was what I needed to relieve me of a load of care, responsibility, and worry. I had gone through a Bible normal class and had been active in different branches of church work, but found all of this little comfort in time of trouble. I find, however, that Christian Science is an ever-present help in solving the problems of each day, both physically and financially.

Mrs. Eddy says in Science and Health, "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need" (p. 494). We have but to know the truth, and this is accomplished by studying the Bible with our text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." After studying this book for about two months I was healed of a chronic disease from which I had worn for about fifteen years. And when a loved one passed from my sight it was comforting to know that there is no separation in divine Mind. I have a greater love for mankind than I ever had before, and I long to know more of the truth of which Paul speaks in the eighth chapter of Romans, when he says, "The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death."
