I send this testimony to say that I thank God every day for the realization that He is ever present. I had many ailments when I came to Christian Science,—headaches which would last two days, and rheumatism so bad that I could hardly walk, also throat trouble and a bad cough, but in four weeks I was a well woman. I wish to tell of one demonstration. We had fish for breakfast one morning and a bone got into my throat. My husband spoke to me, but I could not answer. He saw at once what the trouble was, and ran to my sister's, about a mile away, and she and her daughter came at once. When they saw me their fear was so great that they asked him to go for a Christian Science practitioner. He siad he would go for any one who could help me. In half an hour after the practitioner came I could swallow as well as ever. I am about seventy-three years old, and we are living in one of the suburbs, in which I have just planted without help a large garden and am doing my own housework and sewing without help or the use of glasses. I am striving to live as a Christian Scientsit should live.—Mrs. Amanda Vail, Scranton, Pa.
