TRUTH'S GLORIOUS STAR

Bright star of Truth, which pierced Judea's night
And over Bethlehem shed thy silvery light
Upon the manger where the Christ-child lay,
Today we see thy beauteous rays again,
And hear hosannas and the glad amen,
And view the light which heralded that day.

Never to set while time and space endure,
Be thou our beacon! May our thoughts as pure
And holy as thy gleaming ever be;
Then in our lives no more shall enter fear,
And we shall feel the Comforter is here
To lead us all in paths of harmony.

O glorious star, O Principle divine,
All that expresses Truth, Life, and Love, is thine
In measure boundless as the heavens above!
Enfold us with thine essence through the days,
By night enwrap us with thy peaceful rays,
That we may ever know that God is Love!
