It is about two years ago that we first became interested in Christian Science, during which time we have had several demonstrations of the healing power of Truth. I was enabled to prove that "Truth is here and has fulfilled its perfect work" (Science and Health, p. 463), at the birth of our little one. I had depended wholly upon Christian Science, and had none of the symptoms usually attending such an experience. At six o'clock I was helping to prepare supper, and fifteen minutes later the baby was born, before we could get either the nurse or a physician. Our state law requires that a physician be called in such cases, and we simply complied with the law, as his services were not necessary. There was absolutely no sense of pain, every material law having been overcome. On the sixth day I attended Wednesday evening service, where I was privileged to give my testimony and express in some measure my love and gratitude to God, and to Mrs. Eddy, for this wondrous truth which makes us free.
