It is with a deep sense of gratitude that I wish to give honor where honor is due. About twelve years ago I was taking several kinds of medicine three times every day for heart trouble, and was almost blind also. I had a niece living in Dallas, and I went to see her. She was interested in Christian Science and told me about it, and I was ready for it. She gave me a treatment, and I have been free of the trouble ever since, and have taken no medicine since that time. I have learned to help myself in almost every case, and can trust Truth for everything. I cannot tell the half that divine Love has done for me.

I live away from any Christian Science church and Christian Scientists, but God is with me and I read the Lesson-Sermon every day, also Science and Health and all the rest of Mrs. Eddy's works, besides the Christian Science publications. I do not know how to be thankful enough to God for giving to us one so good and pure as our Leader. When I look back on the past I cannot see how I ever got along without the understanding of God, divine Love, as revealed in Christian Science.
