One day, nearly two years ago, I was lying down with what was no new occurrence, a distressing headache. Before I became interested in Christian Science I used to stand the pain as long as I could, and then send for powders and lie down. If the headache was a bad one the powders had no effect. On this occasion I was studying an article in the Sentinel, and as the truth it contained was borne in upon my consciousness, the pain left me instantaneously. I noticed this at once, and after a moment got up and walked aimlessly about for a bit, to see if the pain had really stopped. I fully expected to have to lie down again, for the twinges were always unbearable, but they did not come back. I spoke of this experience not long since to a non-Scientist, who said: "Oh, that was nothing. Sometimes a jumping toothache will stop suddenly, and so does neuralgia. It only happened to stop while you were reading." I said, "Yes; but that was two years ago, and I have never since had one of those headaches, to which I was very subject. How do you account for that?" "Well, that does seem singular," said my friend. "You had better keep on reading the Sentinel."

I have done so, and I am very thankful to testify that I have experienced many instantaneous healings during moments of sincere study. All the literature is indispensable to me, especially "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and I never merely read it—I study.—Belle A. Mundy, New York, N. Y.
