In the fall of 1906 I was healed through Christian Science of a stomach disorder, sleeplessness, and swollen limbs,—symptoms which frequently attend maternity. The childbirth was nearly painless. Later the child developed a wasting disease, pronounced incurable by physicians, but under Christian Science treatment he was in a few weeks in a perfectly normal condition. An older son was healed of a troublesome rupture through Christian Science, and in a few months all evidence of the condition was gone. Indeed, we have had so many proofs of the value of Christian Science that we know always where to turn for our help.

I am able, as I go on advancing in the understanding, to realize something of "the glorious liberty of the children of God." May my life in all things attest my gratitude to God, and to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for having brought this blessed heritage back to the world.
