Almost three years ago I learned for the first time what Christian Science really is; also what it was doing and could do for suffering humanity, including myself. After I had become slightly interested, I awoke one morning with a sever attack of throat trouble. Some friends who were at my home were very much alarmed when they found that I could hardly swallow water. I had had a similar attack twice before and knew the symptoms well, and with the previous cases found it necessary to undergo severe medical treatment. In this instance, however, a Christian Science practitioner was called. She came in with a reassuring greeting, then stayed a short time to give me treatment. The next day the pain was wonderfully lessened and the swelling entirely gone. I called the following morning at the practitioner's office, perfectly healed.

This is only one of the many proofs I have had that this truth does heal all our diseases. Since then I have been healed of catarrhal and stomach trouble, colds, severe biliousness, and headaches. It is a great privilege for me to testify to this power of God, and to express at least some of my sincere gratitude to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy.—Ada Kathryn Deal, Canton, O.
