MOTHER CHURCH ANNUAL MEETING

The annual meeting of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, was held in the church edifice at two o'clock Monday afternoon.
Outside the propaganda of Christian Science itself, there is no agency for which Christian Scientists have more reason to be grateful than that of the press.
In the first chapter of Genesis we read: "And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

THE GOLDEN RULE

The great Teacher said: "All things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets;" and he gave this as a practical rule to govern all mankind in their journey heavenward.

ASK FOR TODAY

Ask for today: tomorrow ne'er will come.
That the personal influence of Mrs.
Mrs.
If Christian Science did nothing more than to heal nervous and irritable women and make them sweet and lovable, it certainly would have proven itself an important factor in the solution of life's problems.
Christian Science is not merely a school of physical healing.
Christian Science as a distinctive religious denomination has been established about forty years.
Least of all persons in the world can Christian Scientists be charged with substituting "imagination for faith.
That Christian Science is the same doctrine which was taught by Jesus, is shown by the results which follow its practice, and is attested by the life of its Discoverer.
I regret that your correspondent "Truth Seeker" should find the teachings of Christian Science so difficult.
We have to learn to delight in His goodness, because it is diffusive and universal; and thus may we come to find a new place, a rest, and a home, and an all-sufficiency in the bosom of infinite beneficence.
At a recent meeting of the members of Second Church of Christ, Scientist, it was decided to build a handsome new edifice on the lot recently acquired at the southwest corner of Mount Royal avenue and St.

MRS. EDDY'S STATEMENTS

Chestnut Hill, Mass.

"THE PUBLIC IS TIRED"

About every so often some person makes a demand for the moment on the attention of the reading public with a newspaper attack on Christian Science, and tries to bolster up its flimsy tissue with the time-worn and over-worked fabrication that Mrs.
Human experience presents us with no fact that is more pitiful than that of the apparent defeat of heroism.

"THE PURE IN HEART"

Chief among those gems of thought known as the Beatitudes, is this saying of the Master, "Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

THE LECTURES

A very large and attentive audience greeted Prof.
I desire to give this testimonial, as I feel sure it will comfort some anxious parent.
In asking for Christian Science treatment I did not realize the great change it would make in my life, as I was looking only for the physical healing, and told the practitioner in a letter I wrote to her—meaning at least to be honest—that I would not promise to do any reading, but wanted the treatment for severe headaches and other ailments with which I had suffered for years.

Last winter I was taken ill, and had to leave my work...

Last winter I was taken ill, and had to leave my work at noon and go home to bed.
I was a sufferer from kidney and rheumatic trouble for years, at least that is what two well-known doctors told me I had, and in the worst form.
When I first became interested in Christian Science I was wearing glasses, but I was soon enabled to lay them aside through the reading of our text-book, and by holding firmly to the "scientific statement of being" as given on page 468 of this book.

About eight years ago I was healed in Christian Science...

About eight years ago I was healed in Christian Science of acute lung trouble in a few treatments, and three years later I was healed of a growth in my side that had assumed an alarming size.
In the summer of 1906 I was healed of a severe attack of fever.
It is now more than ten years since I first knew of Christian Science and its wonderful healing.
In grateful acknowledgment of countless blessings received, and in recognition of the accurate results obtained through the application of the simple definite rules in Christian Science, this testimony is sent.
Almost three years ago I learned for the first time what Christian Science really is; also what it was doing and could do for suffering humanity, including myself.
About seven years ago, after suffering for months with rheumatic trouble and not receiving help from my physician, I went to see a Christian Science practitioner.
That Christian Science is the truth which makes free from all evil, it has been my privilege to experience repeatedly.
I am exceedingly grateful for the benefits received from Christian Science, and wish to tell others of my experience, hoping that by so doing I shall be enabled to help some struggling one to accept this truth which sets us free from the mortal sense of things.
Christian Science has been of great help to me.
For about fifteen years I had suffered from rheumatic and stomach trouble.
