LETTERS TO OUR LEADER

London, England, May 11, 1909.

Beloved Leader:—I reached London yesterday afternoon, and have resumed my old work in the office of the committee on publication this morning. I feel that it would be difficult for me to express what I know I have gained by my months in the Christian Science publishing house. I do want, however, to tell you how grateful I am to you for giving me that experience, and also how deep is my appreciation of the consecration and example of the workers there. I could not possibly have received greater kindness than I did from every one whom I met, and I feel that I am bringing back to my work here a deeper understanding of the vast possibilities for good which the study of our text-book brings to all who strive to be faithful to its teaching.
